“Still We Rise” represents the fight for equity that students and the community embarked on to demand a new school building and celebrates the rich culture of South Oak Cliff.

“Servant Leadership” highlights the school’s commitment to student development in academics, sports and arts along with a very intimidating tiger mascot.

“Courageous Community” captures the beautiful culture of Carrollton from the folklorico dancers to highlighting the school’s CTE, sports and special education programs.

The “Cedar Hill Charge!” mural is an expression of the energy, vitality, and creativity breaking loose at Cedar Hill High school. Students strive for a life worth living, grabbing the bull by the horns, specifically a Longhorn.

The mural ‘Ready to Soar’ is a celebration of the many creative disciplines offered at DeSoto High School. Not just showcasing art for art’s sake, but also showing how the drive to create is fundamental and necessary for a life worth living.

Thrive Collective exists to provide hope and opportunity through arts and mentoring in and around public schools. Through collaboration, Thrive partnered with Inspire to bring school murals to Dallas.
